Candidates seeking admission to the top law schools need to get admitted in a Law Entrance Coaching institute first, so that it becomes easier for them to crack the various entrance examinations. A number of institutes are present in the country that gives adequate training for such examinations by preparing the students for the same.
 
In order to get eligible for a Common Law Entrance Testthere are certain criteria and eligibility conditions which a student must be able to fulfill to pursue a 3 Year law Course from a reputed law college of the countryAll undergraduates as well as postgraduate students are eligible to give any entrance examinations related to law.
 
As far as the undergraduate students are concerned, all students who have scored 45% or more than that in 10+2 are eligible to appear for such examination. Postgraduate students who are planning to appear either for CLAT 2014 or any law entrance tests need to score at least 55% marks in all the subjects in graduation. Candidates who came under the ambit of Schedule castes or scheduled tribes must secure 50% to be eligible for the entrance exams.
 
There are five important subjects in the entrance exams which tests the ability of the candidates to study law. They are Mathematics, English, General Knowledge, Aptitude and Logical Reasoning. The test is conducted for 200 marks and also includes a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Application for filling up the form can be done online by submitting the required fees and documents. Fees for the application can even be paid offline by paying the required fees in the bank.
